Evangeline Parish, LA (April 5, 2026) – A deadly two-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 13 claimed the lives of two men on Thursday night, April 2, near Mariaun Road in Evangeline Parish. The collision occurred around 10:15 p.m.
Authorities identified the victims as 68-year-old Timmy Devillier and 25-year-old Andrew Godeaux, both from Mamou. Preliminary reports indicate that Devillier was driving a 2008 GMC Sierra northbound, while Godeaux was driving a 2017 Ford F-150 with a boat attached southbound. The GMC crossed the centerline and struck the Ford in a head-on collision. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
