Vernon Parish, Louisiana – A 62-year-old Leesville man was killed Thursday evening in a pedestrian crash on Louisiana Highway 117, according to Louisiana State Police.
Troop E reported that the fatal incident occurred on December 12, 2025, at approximately 5:54 p.m. at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 117 and Louisiana Highway 111. The crash claimed the life of Brian L. Hardwick, 62, of Leesville.
Initial Investigation Details
According to the preliminary investigation by State Police, Hardwick was walking in the roadway when he was struck by a southbound 2015 Lexus traveling on Louisiana Highway 117.
Troopers stated that Hardwick suffered fatal injuries as a result of the impact and was pronounced dead.
