New Orleans, LA (January 21, 2026) – A 30-year-old man was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Canal St on January 20 after reportedly driving unrestrained at the time of impact. The crash resulted in significant damage to his vehicle and prompted a trauma activation during transport.
Emergency responders reported the man was traveling around 50 mph when the crash occurred. His vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage with roughly 12 inches of intrusion, and all airbags deployed. The driver, who remained conscious and alert at the scene, complained of shoulder pain and had minor scrapes on his hand.
